LEGAL — LAST UPDATED OCTOBER 2026

Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information Webivores collects when you use our website, what we do with it, and the rights you have over it. We comply with Quebec’s Law 25 (An Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector) and Canada’s other applicable privacy laws.

Who we are

We are Webivores, a boutique digital marketing agency based in Montreal, Quebec. We help clinics and businesses grow through strategy, search, paid media, content, reputation management, and AI visibility. If you have questions about this policy or about your personal information, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

We collect only the information we need, and we never ask for more than the purpose requires:

  • Contact information you send us. When you fill out a contact form, request a call, or email us, we collect your name, email address, and the clinic or business details you share so we can reply to you.
  • AI Visibility Scan inputs. To run a scan, we collect the clinic or practice name, its location, and the email address where you want the report delivered.
  • Basic analytics. Like most websites, we collect limited, aggregated data about how visitors use our site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — to understand what works and what doesn’t. We do not collect health information through this website.

How we use it

We use your information only to:

  • respond to your inquiries;
  • run the AI Visibility Scan and deliver your report;
  • improve our website and services.

We never sell your personal information. Ever.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use essential cookies — without them the site won’t work properly, for example remembering your language choice — and analytics cookies, which produce anonymous, aggregated statistics about site usage.

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, inquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months and scan data for up to 12 months — then we delete it. We protect your information with standard technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections. No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

Your rights under Quebec Law 25

Under Quebec’s Law 25, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request that it be corrected (rectified), and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time, at no charge.

Third parties

We share limited data with a small number of service providers so this site can work — for example, our email delivery provider (to send scan reports and replies) and our analytics provider (to measure anonymous site usage). These providers process data only on our instructions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date below and, for material changes, post a notice on the site.
